Lately

Hello All! It's been a while since I've posted about what has been going on in our lives, so I thought now was the time to do so. Isn't this warmer weather great? I feel like I'm coming out of hybernation! This is what I woke up to yesterday morning. Who could possibly resist such a sweet face?
Last night, we went over the Gene and Shea's for our monthly game night. We had a great time, but never got around to playing games. Beth and Brett weren't able to come because Deacon has H1N1, and most of the other people who usually come had previous plans. Anyway, we had a nice dinner and chatted for a few hours. When we were sitting down to eat, we noticed that Gavin was missing. This is where we found him:
Playing with Lilli in her playroom. How cute is that? Needless to say, he has definately made him a new friend. We are going to the beach with Gene, Shea, Lilli, Beth, Brett, and Deacon in a few weeks. Lilli is very excited that her friend Gavin will be able to play at the beach with her!
.
This morning, we headed to Auburn for brunch with Kim and Ward. We met them here: Blooming Colors is a nursery and they just added this cute little cafe next door that serves crepes!Isn't it cute? They also have produce! After eating, we wandered around the nursery for a look. Aren't the planters awesome? I'd like one of each!
I'm still trying to figure out if that's real moss or not. I'm regretting not touching it to satisfy my curiousity!
Wouldn't you love to have this in your backyard?
If you ever get the chance, you should definately head over to the Crepe Myrtle Cafe. It really is the cutest little place and the crepes are wonderful!

In other news, Maddie and Maisy finally got there hair cut the other day. I just love Maisy's oversized bow. It reminds me of my mom torturing me with them as a child. Something I fully intend to do if I ever have a little girl! We had a great weekend and really took the time to enjoy spring and smell the flowers- or in Maddie's case, the weeds.
