Spring Break (Part 2)

Well, Spring Break is over and today I headed back to work. We really enjoyed the break and spent most of it at the beach. We headed down to my dad's in Orange Beach on Thursday. It was great to see him and Alicia, as well as the rest of the family. Friday, we took the dogs to the beach. Maddie and I did a lot of this... while Gavin and Maisy did a lot of this...
Maddie did a little running too, but she had a hard time avoiding the water.
Last year when we took the dogs to the beach, Maddie loved for us to throw sea shells for her to fetch. We thought it would be a great idea to get a "Maddie-sized" frisbie for her to play with. Unfortunately, she had no interest in the frisbie.
Until Maisy wanted it. Then she decided she wasn't willing to share!
She finally gave it a rest and let Maisy have at it.
And this is what Maisy ended up looking like:
Yep, that's right- sand all in her mouth!

Later, we decided to put Maddie and Maisy in the water.

But neither of them wanted anything to do with it! And after getting this look from Maddie,

I decided it was time to go!

Saturday we headed to the beach with Dad, Alicia, Ashleigh, and Lexie. The girls had a ball playing in the water with Dad and Gavin.

And after drying off a bit,

it was time to dig in the sand!

We played in the water a bit more, and even found a few sea creatures.

Saturday night we headed to dinner at Flippers. It was delish!

It was time to head home on Sunday. But before we left, we met up with these people (+ Cory):

We had lunch at Guy Harvey to celebrate my Aunt Theresa's birthday. It was pretty good, and we enjoyed spending time with them.

Now it's back to work, but only for 5 more weeks! Summer will be here before you know it!
